What’s the difference between RAD Studio and Delphi or C++Builder?
RAD Studio is the combination of Delphi and C++Builder in a single IDE. If you only need a single language, you’d be better off buying Delphi or C++Builder.
What’s this Subscription Business?
When you buy RAD Studio, Delphi or C++Builder, your purchase includes a license and a subscription for all updates and new versions released for the next 12 months.
What happens at the end of the Subscription?
You have the option of renewing your subscription at a greatly reduced price for a further 12 months, during which you’ll receive any updates or new versions released.
Is the License Perpetual?
Yes. If you choose not to renew your subscription, your product will still work. However you will not receive updates and new versions.
How many people can use the license?
The standard license (a Named User license) allows a single named developer to use the product. If you have other requirements, there are other licenses available, such as Network Named and Concurrent as we outline here.
