Also, the viewer cannot handle these large files. I had to split them several times so I could look at them. The viewer should at least be able to read them in chunks and allow the user to select the part he wants to work with.

Update the instrumentation Panel. Every single Delphi release saw the users unable to use the menu for tracing methods. To Gurock, this feature seemed to be viewed as an Add-On to SmartInspect and not part of the product itself. I can’t name a single user who viewed it that way.

LogObject. Use RTTI and add options such as [fields, properties, private, public, published, inherited]. In other words, log what you need about the object.

Allow us to plug the configuration GUI for log outputs into other tools – eg having the smartinspect log config outside our main config tool is awkward.

Support for JSON logging messages – perhaps you might provide a base class with the core columns smartinspect requires and we could extend it to add other things – the GUI could then show fields as columns or some such.

Support for “Categories” similar to log4net / log4j especially with the “Category” being a separate filterable column

Make sending logs to other PCs easier, or make the doco easier to understand when explaining how to do it.
